This photo is from a few weeks ago, just after I bought a digital camera. Mr. Cat appointed himself the guardian of the box that the camera came in. My living room floor is often this messy, especially in warm weather when my office upstairs gets too hot. I’ll bring a pile of papers downstairs, and pretty soon they’ve multiplied and there’s a cat in the middle of them. But if I can keep my head organized, I’ll be okay.
Tomorrow, Thursday June 2, I’m doing a Blog Talk radio chat with Barry Eva from 6:30 to 7:00 pm EST. I’ve listened to a couple of Barry’s interviews with other people, and I think it’ll be a lot of fun. I predict that we’ll focus on the lighter aspects of “When Sparrows Fall,” like the romance, the humor, and the role that literature plays in the story.
On Friday, June 3, at 1 pm EST, I’m doing a Blog Talk radio chat with Cynthia Mullen Kunsman and Jocelyn Andersen. This conversation will focus on the more serious aspects of the novel, including spiritual abuse and patriarchy. I’m sure it will be a lively conversation.
Both shows will be available in the archives if you can’t catch the live broadcasts. I hope you’ll tune in or listen later.
