Moments

I took this picture a couple of weeks ago on a foggy morning in the back yard. I’m not a great photographer, but I have fun with my little camera–especially when the subject matter is something that holds still, like a tree.
My photos of moving targets (birds, deer, grandchildren) are often just blurs of motion, destined for the delete button. Besides that, when I’m bent on capturing a moment with my camera, I lose the moment in real time, in real life. Sometimes it’s better to take pictures with the heart, not with the camera.
Wherever you may be, I hope your day will include some moments worth savoring. With or without a camera.

I like your foggy morning photograph. Reminds me of the same type of morning I encountered last year to inspire me to write this posting: http://marygilmartin.wordpress.com/2012/06/10/the-morning-fog/
That’s a beautiful photo, Mary. I enjoyed your post about starting a story, too. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
