Leaving on a jet plane…
I’m about to leave for California, after I’ve tied up a few loose ends here. Before I got word of my mom’s death, I had my first e-newsletter nearly ready to send. It will go out in a few days. It includes some fun stuff like questions from readers, a nugget from G.K. Chesterton, and a few thoughts about extremist homeschoolers. If you haven’t yet, please visit my website, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and sign up for the newsletter. I promise I won’t flood you with too-frequent updates.
While you’re on the website, you can find my email at the bottom of the “about” page, in case you’d like to write to me.
But first, while you’re here on the blog, did you know you can subscribe to it? Look to the right and scroll down to “Email Subscription.” Also, while you’re here, you can click the link for yesterday’s post and leave a comment about the Q&A with K. Dawn Byrd. You’ll not only make her feel loved, but you’ll also be entered in a drawing for a free download of her new novel, Mistaken Identity.
Now I’d better start packing. It will be a short trip. I’ll be back in time for my book signing at the Buford (GA) LifeWay store on Saturday, June 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Thanks to everybody who stopped by here or on Facebook with their condolences. I have some very special friends, and I had a very special mother. Here, as promised, are a few more photos.
