It’s Release Day for “When Sparrows Fall”
“If there’s a book you really want to read but it hasn’t been written yet, then you must write it,” said Toni Morrison.
So I did. As of today, my debut novel is officially out there in the world, in bookstores and online. Its name is When Sparrows Fall.
Book, meet world. World, meet book. I hope you’ll get along, but that’s out of my hands.
I want to say a big “Thank you!” to my family, friends, and fellow writers who’ve helped me along the road to publication. That includes my agent, my editors, and the whole wonderful team at Multnomah and Random House. Each one of them is a pleasure to work with.
It’s a privilege to see my ideas, my characters, my story, come to life on the pages of a book. I hope this novel will make my readers think. I hope it will make them appreciate the freedoms we have in this country. We mustn’t take them for granted.
If you know a woman like Miranda, the protagonist of When Sparrows Fall, maybe you can whisper a secret in her ear: “You can be both home and free.”
Women like Miranda need to know it’s true.
You can read more about her at www.megmoseley.com. Thanks for reading!
