Giveaways (edit: closed) and a podcast with “That Mom”
Congratulations to my friend Karen Campbell on the sixth anniversary of producing podcasts on her blog, “That Mom,” which is a great source of information and encouragement for homeschooling mothers. She features good recipes on her site, too. Every one I’ve tried has ended up in my big, messy, three-ring binder where I keep my favorites. Not that I’m much of a cook, but I digress…
Earlier this year, Karen and I taped a podcast related to some of the topics in my first novel, When Sparrows Fall, which follows one woman’s journey out of legalism and into freedom while keeping her children’s best interests at heart.
If you would like a chance to win a copy of the book, leave a comment on Karen’s blog, and your name will be entered in the week’s drawing. I think Karen said she’ll draw one name each week while this podcast series airs, but I think we’ll make it two per week. Of course I hope you’ll leave comments here too, but only the comments on Karen’s blog will be entered in the drawing. (Edit: The drawing is now closed.)
It’s a fun novel, if I do say so myself. I truly enjoyed throwing an opinionated, smart-mouth professor into the sheltered life of a widowed homeschool mom who’s fiercely protective of her children and her secrets.
I hope you’ll listen to the podcast on Karen Campbell’s blog and join the conversation by commenting. See you there!
