Book-launch news & the RT review of When Sparrows Fall
Thanks to the wonderful Elizabeth Ludwig for posting an interview with me on The Borrowed Book. Leave a comment there if you’d like to enter a drawing for a copy of When Sparrows Fall. (Of course I hope you’ll leave comments here too, but Elizabeth will draw a name from her commenters, not from mine.)
And guess what? RT Book Reviews named When Sparrows Fall a “Top Pick” and gave the story a rating of 4.5 stars. Apparently they never award five-star reviews, so I’m perfectly content with 4.5. Here’s the review: “Debut author Moseley writes a compelling story. Miranda’s will to fight oppression is heartfelt and Jack’s incessant need to be, well, Jack is both frustrating and charming. As the characters grow throughout the story, readers will embrace them and never want to let go.” (That makes me smile.)
The book will be available in bookstores nationwide on May 3. Books for Less in Buford, Georgia will host my launch party on Saturday, May 7 from 2 to 4 p.m. Books for Less is an indie bookstore located at 2815 Buford Drive, #108. It includes a great coffee shop for the caffeine-addicted among us, and that includes me. I hope to see you there on May 7th.
Meg Moseley is a Californian at heart although she’s lived more than half her life in other states. She formerly wrote human-interest columns for a suburban section of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and home schooled for over twenty years. Meg enjoys books, travel, gardening, her three grown children, and motorcycle rides with her husband Jon. They make their home in northern Georgia.
When Sparrows Fall is published by Multnomah Books, a division of Random House.
